There was a spam post earlier; reported, deleted, etc. It was a pretty good giveaway when she posted an intro thread in the wrong forum, especially when there's a whole freakin' Introduction subforum right below.

I tend to look at signatures - if the signature is a spam post of some kind, I will immediately delete the account and IP-ban it for good measure. I do make a difference for people whose signature is more relevant for the forum, and I don't care if a long-term member wants to promote their business or other endeavors, but if a new member joins and has promotion unrelated to this forum in their signature, I treat it as a spammer, because it probably is.
