Worst alternate post 1900 POTUS

okay, i just want people to discuss who they think was the worst AH POTUS from an AH perspective. remember, keep the potus plausible.

Smedley Butler (1937-45) - that guy's paranoia about Corporations allowed the Soviet Union to plunge most of Eurasia into what can only be described as an orwellian nightmare. Heck, even as post POTUS, he didnt protest when the Red Army marched into Lisbon. He also reduced the us military to a joke in his tenure.

Harry Wallace (1945-1953)-Absolutely the worst President of the United States. Took over when FDR passed away and refused to drop atomic bombs on Japan instead using a blockade and bombing strategy that led to the utter collapse of Japanese society killing almost five million people. Thanks to his weak stance China, Korea, Japan, and SE Asia all became occupied by the Soviets along with all of Europe up the Rhine including Germany, Italy, and Austria and then let the Soviets invade and occupy Spain and Portugal while letting France become neutral. His half-hearted attempts at domestic reform led to a renewed recession in 1950 and the election of Robert Taft in 1952 who died in office and was succeedeed by Joseph McCarthy.
