It amazes me how gold is so expensive even though there is over 2500 metric tons mined annually. I realize it has uses in electronics, but other than that it just reminds me of diamonds.

We need to have a nice long talk about interstellar economics. Because I'm visiting some notes I took down for When The Wheels Don't Move and I'm having a hard time swallowing that this whole conflict is going to start over iron.
